Supporting the Economy (just because)

Hi all, hope you are well. Today's card is a "just because I am seeing my Mom this week and we are going shopping" card. I confess to being a major shop-a-holic, though as of late, I am shopping less than usual, which is a good thing! however, I have really been looking forward to seeing my Mom this week because we are going dress shopping for my sister's wedding! I can't wait! :) So, that is a FUN thing to go shopping for anyway, hope I find something cute that will appropriate for an outdoor wedding in the Spring in CA. I am hoping to find something green, since it's my sister's favorite color, and she's not having bridesmaids, but I know if she was having them, the dresses would have been green. So, wish me luck!

I love this Sarah Shopper stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie. When I saw her, I knew she would be a cute stamp for making cards for my mom and some of my friends. She and I have the same hairdo, so I gave her my coloring for this card.

She was really fun to color. I had more fun with my Copics than I've had in awhile. I made a few mistakes on the ColourQ card from yesterday, and spent most of my coloring time fixing my screwups! I had more of the right colors for this card, which definitely helps a lot. I used several Cosmo Cricket papers and dies from TCP and Spellbinders. I added some gems for glitz and at the very end decided the card needed something "more" so then added a layered paper flower (Prima).
