TCP BLOG HOP! "Vintage Holiday"

Hi all! I had such an awesome time playing along with the Cat Pack at The Cat's Pajamas over this last week! I was able to do this because I was chosen as The Swanky Stamper in July for this card. So I got the whole new release for free, and got to share with you all the goodies I'm made with these fun new things. Sadly, all good things must come to an end, but if you haven't gotten a chance to check out the FABULOUS new release yet, you should! :)

You should have come here from Susan's blog, if you didn't and you want to Hop, please head back to Lori's blog to start the Hop.

This set was the first one that debuted this week, it's called "Snow Kisses," just too cute! The theme for this challenge is "Vintage Holiday" So you can do Victorian, Vintage, or Retro. I went sorta Vintage/Victorian. These are those new papers I told you I'm having a hard time cutting into! LOL I didn't use any of the new CutUps on this, but I did use the "Stamp Trio CutUp" since the sentiment says "Sending You Snow Kisses." I created a stamp with the Stamp CutUp and a set from the last release "Commemorating You." I sponged some ink around the edges of the penguin image, and added Stickles to the snowflake. This card is 4x6.

Please check out the Cat's Pajamas Thread on Splitcoaststampers to see what the Cat Pack made with these cute stamps and to check out the Sneaky Peeks! You now need to go to Amy's blog to keep Hopping! :) Thanks for popping (I mean hopping!) by paper and ICE.

Have a stellar day!

TCP Sneaky Peek Week day #7 "Handmade for the Holidays" (JB 12:24)

The Cat's Pajamas is now 10 years old! Alma started making rubber stamps at her dining room table, hand cutting rubber and cushion and attaching them to wood blocks to sell to the local stamp stores where she was teaching.

So much has happened to stamping in 10 years. But our love of stamping is still going strong. So this release, we are excited to celebrate the way we started. With rubber stamps. Not just any rubber stamps. Cling Stamp sets for easy storage and positioning. Perfect for those who love rubber, but also love the convenience and ease of clear. Limited Edition because these stamps are extra special. Lovingly assembled at Alma's dining room table. Just like she did 10 years ago. So snap them up, because only a small number will be made. Her table is only so big.

Hi all! I am so excited to play along with the Cat Pack at The Cat's Pajamas this week! I am able to do this because I was chosen as The Swanky Stamper in July for this card. So I get the whole new release for free, and get to share with you all the goodies I'm making with these fun new things this week.

This set is called "Handmade For the Holidays" and there is a super-cute coordinating CutUp. I used both the stamps and the CutUp, as well as the new Star CutUp. I love stars, they are so versatile I've found throughout the years. Great for Christmas, 4th of July, school, kid, theater, birthdays, and more! This tag will also work to submit to the Current Jingle Belles challenge, to use food on your project :)

I made a tag, I figured I could dress up a tin of handmade cookies or a recipe card with this. It would also make a cute gift tag. I do tend to make a lot of handmade gifts at Christmas, so I love that this has the kitchen sentiment and the handmade sentiment as well.

I wanted to put cute googly eyes on my gingerbread man, but I didn't have any, and was running too short on time  to go to the craft store to get some, so I improvised with some green snaps/closed eyelets, and a black pen.

I dry embossed little "Gingy" ;) and folded his hands around the sentiment as if he was holding a sign. Added some bakers twine for the tie.

I hope you like my card! Please check out the Cat's Pajamas Thread on Splitcoaststampers to see what the Cat Pack made with these cute stamps and to check out the other Sneaky Peeks!

big hugs, Noelle

TCP Sneaky Peek Week day #6 "Tree-mendous"

So I get the whole new release for free, and get to share with you all the goodies I'm making with these fun new things this week. The Sneaky Peek today is called "Tree-mendous." This cute bear is having a bit of a hard time stuffing that big tree into his igloo, wouldn't ya say? Too funny! I made a little canvas, this could be hung on the wall, or set on a shelf. I didn't paint the canvas, just used paper and ribbon to decorate it:)

I used the cute "Treemendous" set and the "Holiday Topper" CutUps again! I really like that set of CutUps, think I may have used them on almost every project for this release! I also used two of my other TCP CutUps "Snowflake Lace Paper" and "Snowflake." They blend really well with the Snowflake Topper!

Here's some more info on the CutUps: There are Five CutUps Dies in this release. Along with some "classics" that belong in every die collection, we are so excited to introduce our "Toppers" line. They are shapes that you can use the positive and negatives of to create borders and panels. They are open-ended so that you can create panels of any size using the toppers. You can place them individually or use them together. Endless possibilities!

I found a cute Christmas Tree ribbon in my stash, perfect color, and it sure made a cute accent to wrap the edge of the canvas in this. :)

I sure hope you enjoyed this Peek! Please check back tomorrow for another one. Please check out the Cat's Pajamas Thread on Splitcoaststampers to see what the Cat Pack made with these cute stamps and to check out the other Sneaky Peeks!

BLACK SATURDAY SPECIAL! TCP Sneaky Peek Week day #5 "Merry Everything"

So I get the whole new release for free, and get to share with you all the goodies I'm making with these fun new things this week. The Sneaky Peek today is called "Merry Everything."

... and I suppose you may be wondering what the BIG Black Friday/Saturday surprise is? Hmmm? Well here you go!

******It's our 10th Anniversary and we've decided to give a little something back this year. So on Black Friday and Saturday you can purchase all our NEW Limited Edition stamp sets and dies EARLY. Yup, that's before the official release. AND we'll give you FREE shipping in the US and FREE International Shipping on all orders over $65. Happy Anniversary from us to you!*****

You can see I went very CAS on this card, just using the new "Holiday Topper" CutUps instead of a main stamped image, and then used the sentiment only from this cute set. I love the way it turned out, but the cream on cream sentiment was a bit tough to photograph. But don't you think these two Buns are super cute, too?

Here's some more info on the CutUps: There are Five CutUps Dies in this release. Along with some "classics" that belong in every die collection, we are so excited to introduce our "Toppers" line. They are shapes that you can use the positive and negatives of to create borders and panels. They are open-ended so that you can create panels of any size using the toppers. You can place them individually or use them together. Endless possibilities!

I added a wee bit of Diamond Stickles for snow and heat embossed the sentiment with a clear embossing powder/Dazzling Diamonds glitter mix. Gave the card a bit of a nativity feel with a single large star, the negative part of the Star Topper CutUp. So, I used 3 of the 4 CutUps in this set. This is a simple card, and one that it would be easy to make several of for your Christmas cards. I hope you like it! :) Please check back tomorrow for another Peek. Please check out the Cat's Pajamas Thread on Splitcoaststampers to see what the Cat Pack made with these cute stamps and to check out the other Sneaky Peeks!

Silly Sprinkle has all her shopping done and her gifts beautifully wrapped, but she is feeling a bit grinchy, I'd say! LOL, I think we can *all* relate, sometimes the holidays get to be a bit much for us all! LOL

For my card, I masked, and stamped an additional stack of presents, so there was just this tower of gifts, so you can see why poor Sprinkle is so tired ;) I colored this image with regular markers, and sdded some gems for glitz. I also used these cute "Toppers" CutUps, but I used them more like a border. Here's some more info on the CutUps: There are Five CutUps Dies in this release. TCP Sneaky Peek Week day #3 "Soar"

Her table is only so big.

Hi all! Happy Thanksgiving! I am so excited to play along with the Cat Pack at The Cat's Pajamas this week! I am able to do this because I was chosen as The Swanky Stamper in July for this card. So I get the whole new release for free, and get to share with you all the goodies I'm making with these fun new things this week. This is my first Sneaky Peek this week, this set is called "Soar." My hubby is an aerospace engineer, and as such we love ALL THINGS outer space related 'round these parts! For a long time, both Ian and Collin had outer space themed rooms, but you may remember, we recently redecorated Ian's room. Anyway, I did a little happy dance when I saw these super cute stamps and dies. You could use this as a Christmas set if you wanted, there is the sentiment "meet me at the mistletoe" on here, but I personally think this will be great for inspirational cards and birthday cards, love love LOVE this! I also used two new CutUps on this, the "Star Rosette," and the "Holiday Topper." Here's some more info on the CutUps:

There are Five CutUps Dies in this release.

I used some cute papers that I hadn't used much of Technologic by Kaisercraft. There were so many cute ones in the pad, I had a hard time choosing!

Colored Astro Bun with Copics and cut him out. I "filled" in the die cut star CutUp on the bottom, by cutting some more stars out of the scrap I had left from cutting the rosette, and using those inside the negative part of the die cut.

I hope you like my card! Please check out the Cat's Pajamas Thread on Splitcoaststampers to see what the Cat Pack made with these cute stamps and to check out the other Sneaky Peeks! There will be a Black Friday surprise tomorrow regarding this release, and I'll have all the info here for you tomorrow, early tomorrow, so you can get a jump on that special surprise if you choose! :) Hope you eat too much turkey and pumpkin pie today!

Biggest hugs, Noelle

CAS for CYDI?

Hi again! We have a new challenge going on over at Can You Digi It? today! It's a Clean and Simple Challenge, here's a little inspiration for ya!

Here's my card, we had great new releases on Friday for LilyPink and also for Striped Elephants. I used a LilyPink image for this card Text Cloud & Songbird, so pretty! I also used this Dolled Up paper pad and some Rouge Liquid Pearls on the hanging hearts. There are some Candi Dots in lieu of brads on the bottom.

Tried to go as Clean and Simple as is possible for me on here! You know I am a "load it up" girl by nature! LOL

I carefully colored the image with Copics. I do not have a laser printer, only an inkjet, so it can be a messy situation with Copics if I'm not uber-careful!

You can see I used two of the same image, for the hanging hearts, just the lower portion of the image was punched out, then the cloud and bird were fussy-cut and popped up with dimensional dots.

Hope you are doing well, and that you can come play this challenge at Can You Digi It? I'd love to see what you'll come up with! :)

hugs, Noelle

U are the Winner of a giant SQUID hat! (CQC164)

Hey all! FUN and different color palette at ColourQ this week! I think the purple is really what makes this different, check it.

*And as a side note, I am going to be taking a little ColourQ hiatus until the New Year, I'm not quitting though, never fear! :) I LOVE the challenge, I just have my fingers in too many pies right now. Bit off a little more than I can chew, and after 3 weeks of days that run from 6am-11pm, I am realizing I need to cut back just a bit until the Theater Workshop I'm teaching is over, plus a few other things that are in the works! :) Thanks so much to Arielle for being such a doll about my little break, too. Thanks, Arielle, you rock! :)

I did kind of a silly page, but this squid hat was so silly, I couldn't help it! And Collin was SO thrilled to win it, too! Haha!

I used this cute digi layout as a jumping off point for my traditionally scrapped page. I liked the angles, and the way the papers were just layered on top of each other like that! Cute!

I pulled DPs in the challenge colors and did something that might help you if you're trying to use up old items in your stash. Both the "U" in the title and the rust colored pennant are colored with marker. they were both close in color, but not quite close enough, and they were porous, so my Stampin' Up! markers worked well on there.

I used my Big Ticket CutUp from The Cats Pajamas, and it made a great journaling spot for this amusement park page. I used an SU! stamp to create the lines to write on called "School Lines" and the coordinating TCP set to the die in the rust color.

Found some already cut silver stars in my stash and a brad and another bottle cap like the ones I used on my last ColourQ card.

A silly page for a silly picture! Hope you like it! be back in just a bit with a card for Can You Digi It? So come back soon! ;)

xo, Noelle

*not writing out a supply list today, in a big hurry.
:( But if you want to know what brand something is leave a comment and I will get back to you with it! :)

DUST IT OFF! SO much old goodness on this page, lots of really old papers to start, some old stickers that I made work with my markers, and my trusty giant circle punch. :)
