Hi there everyone! This scrapbook page is my first post as a ColourQ DT member! :) You have got to check out these pretty colors this week! I decided to use them for a page (well, 2 page spread actually...) about my son's last day of 1st grade. His teacher had a very COOL way of ending the year with a ladybug release. I thought these colors really gelled with the event and the colors in the pics. I usually scrap in a 2 page spread format, but often make the left page my "focus" page. In other words, do most of the embellishments and design elements on that left page and have the right page be additional pics with a few coordinating elements. The reason for this is to remember how we read, left to right. The left page will always be where your eye lands first, so it makes sense to have your bolder design elements on the left page.
For my regular readers, you know I am focusing on mixing the old with the new this year. The old on this page are those swirl stamps; Autumn Leaves brand, circa 2005;)
Well, that's it for me today! Be sure to check out all the AWESOME samples the rest of the colourQ team has for you today! You can link up on the sidebar of my blog. :)
Have a stellar day! -Noelle:)

What great pages - those colours look so good! Love how you have the little ladybugs in the corners coming out from the swirls.
