Hello all! Here is a fun card for the color challenge over at Stacey's Stamping Stage. As you may already know, when it comes to bold color, I'm a fan;) However, even I struggled with this palette a little, so many bold colors at once! But it was lots of fun and I'm glad I tried. Pretty simple card, my "old" item for this card is that swirly stamp, I am not even sure of the manufacturer, but I THINK it's Autumn Leaves, if you happen to know for sure, fill me in!
Ok, my card, base is Wild Wasabi and I stamped the swirl stamp down in Garden Green ink (I actually don't have the Wild Wasabi inkpad). Distressed the edge on my blue patterned paper (if you want a better idea of what it looks like in all it's glory, the card is sitting on a large piece of that paper...) and went over it with my Pacific Point marker so the white core wouldn't show. I layered my multi colored patterned paper over the blue print and adhered that down. I inked up my sentiment (I just LOVE that sentiment, don't you? One of my faves....;) with multiple markers and then die cut it out. Finally, I made a REALLY bold multi-loop bow and wired it with a cool button.
I hope you like my card! Please comment or follow if you can, I'd LOVE to hear from you! :)
Have a stellar day!

Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Have a great week :)
So pretty. Great use of the colors. Thanks for playing along with us at Curtain Call. :o)
The Hockey Pokey stamp is adorable! I've always loved that saying! Your card is gorgeous!
What a great take on the colour combo!! Love the patterned paper which fits perfectly and what a fun saying too!! Gorgeous!
I love this for so many reasons, Noelle! First, awesome use of these bold colors. I always shy away from patterned papers like this, but you used it beautifully. Second, your multi-looped bow is incredible! I tried to make one recently and totally failed. Love it! And finally, the sentiment is perfect for the happy color scheme. My dad used to (and still sometimes does) call me "Pokey", so this quote has always been a favorite of mine. Thanks for sharing!
I was just thinking about this stamp set today when I was looking through my SU catty, thinking I should dig it out and use it sometime....now I see this cool card and I'm totally inspired!!!! The bow is awesome and I love the multi-coloured sentiment! You totally rocked the colour challenge too:)
