Curtain Call 51- 2 cards

Hi there! A couple really quick posts today, because things are CRAZY! We leave for vacation on Weds. morning and then I just found out hubby has to take a one day trip to D.C. tomorrow??? Ack! That leaves ME getting the boys ready ALONE **hyperventilating**! I just REALLY wanted to get to this challenge over at Stacey's Stamping Stage before I leave.

The robot card is inspired by a episode of "Dear Genevieve" (interior design show) that I watched the other day. In the episode, Genevieve Gorder used a similar randon, funky pattern to the background I used here on the wainscoting in a fun family room. I thought it would be a new idea & something fun to execute in paper:) The robot has a clear epoxy sticker on his belly & colored pearls for eyes. I watercolored him with inkpads and blender pens.

On the bird card, I stamped the "wood" panel, the bird one is patterned paper & then solid Daffodil Delight. I made the circle embellishment with stamps, inks & punches, as well as a chipboard button.

Well that's it for me- one more post & then I will see you back here late next week! Thanks to my stamping buddy Mindy for housesitting!! xoxoxo-Noelle

Supply list: all stamps, solid cardstock, inks, punches-SU!, gear "punch"-iTop, Gear sticker- We R Memory Keepers, bird patterned paper-Basic Grey.

Oh how FUN! That bg you pieced is amazing and so perfect for the robot. The second card is equally adorable, with such a unique layered embellishment. Thanks for joining us at the Curtain Call!
