Hey there! Hope you all are doing well. Another busy week here, so I don't know how much I will be around, but I did want to show you this fun birthday card I made for my nephew with the colors from this week's ColourQ! Here is the palette:
Aren't these colors fun?? LOVE them. :) I knew my nephew was getting a skateboard as a present from another family member so, even though I ordered him a Nerf gun, I thought a skateboarder card would be cute. I also used the sketch at Retrosketches. But I'll tell you, I glanced at the sketch, and was thinking it was more based in the corner, and looking at it now, it's far more vertical than I realized, so I may not link, it doesn't really look like I used it!
I used a stamp I hadn't inked up before Skater Ian from the Greeting Farm. I also used Skater Dude from Papertrey Ink, and the coordinating die. My card is 5 1/4" square.
Colored little Ian with Copics and fussy cut him out, I stamped, die cut, and scored the "boards," & cut stars in the challenge colors. I layered up my card base, and stamped the Ruby Red strip with a birthday sentiment in the coordinating ink.
I think Thomas will like it. I'm pleased with it, and it's not too bulky for mailing. :) That is it for me today! Don't know how much I'll be around this week, so I hope **YOU** have a great one :)
