Feelin' a little Witchy (curtain Call 53 & 2s4y 64)

Hi there! I hope everyone is doing well! I am having a super week and gearing up for a fun scrapbook retreat the weekend, Yay!! Since half my stuff is packed, I am multitasking my 2 fave challenges. This is for Laura's sketch at 2s4y and the Curtain Call Challenge at Stacey's Stamping Stage . My jumping off point was this fun card by Angie Tieman at Schwooo! Isn't it great? I'm a big fan of Angie's work:) she is one of the design team at 2s4y. I took her black and ivory print paper idea & used a sheet music piece instead- my first time trying the sheet music trend, it is fun, particularly on a vintage look like this. I stamped my little witch on a piece of Whisper White cardstock & colored her with a combination of Copics and SU! markers. Then I tore a corner off the sheet music piece and I sponged the edges of all the pieces with Basic Gray ink and a sponge. I also sponged my witch piece with Daffodil Delight ink. In keeping with that torn look I also tore my Daffodil Delight piece on the main panel. I turned that lower right hand corner up on the white piece, the gray piece and my Daffodil card base- that's a new technique for me as well, it looks cool! On my card base I ran some sticky strip along the left hand side near the fold & glittered it with silver glass glitter. For that strong horizontal line across the middle I used some ruffled ribbon in gray and black. Finally, I made a fun, random bow from a crochet ribbon, some orange ribbon, a button from my jar, and a vintage brad.

Supply list: solid cardstock, crochet ribbon, orange ribbon, vintage brad, glass glitter, inkpads, sponges, Greeting Card Kids stamp set, All Holidays stamp set & markers:SU!; gray & black ruffled ribbons, sheet music paper: The Paper Studio, markers:Copic

Well that's it for me today! I hope you have a great week & a spooooky Halloween! I am scrapbooking mega Disney pages this weekend, I'll show you some next week! Please leave a comment or follow if you can, I would LOVE to hear from you!!!
