TCP Tuesday 271-Anything Goes!!

Hi all! Just swinging in with a card for the new TCP Tuesday Challenge! This week, the theme is “Anything Goes!” So I hope you can get stamping and join us!

Here are the Details on how you can join in on the fun:
  1. Every other Tuesday a new challenge will be posted on the TCP Blog as well as on our Splitcoaststampers forum and our Facebook page.
  2. If you want to play along you just upload your design using the InLinkz button on the TCP blog. If you want to display your pretties on Splitcoaststampers use keyword TCPTUES271. Only the entries uploaded to the Inlinkz button will be considered for Swanky Stamper at the end of the month.
  3. You must have your project posted by the Monday, 12 midnight EDT before the next challenge to be eligible to win the Cat Cash.
  4. Cards and projects are not required to use of a Cat’s Pajamas Stamp or CutUps die.
  5. On the following TCP Tuesday, the winner will be chosen at random from the previous challenge and will receive a Cat Cash Voucher for $10 or $15 if a TCP product is used.
  6. At the end of the month, The Swanky Stamper will be selected from all the weekly entries. The Swanky Stamper will receive some of the stamps from our next release and get to play along with us at our Pajamas Party and Blog Hop. AND… They’ll even get a special spot in the Gallery highlighting the project that won them the gig and a snazzy badge to display on their blog.
  7. The Swanky Stamper will be announced the First Monday of the month on Splitcoaststampers, Facebook page and this Blog.

Here’s my card, I used the brand spankin’ new set SimpleBlooms, and the Framed Up 2 CutUps on my card. This card has a story, actually. I actually made this to submit to the Spring ’15 issue of CardMaker, along with one other card. I made the cards before the deadline, wrote up all the forms, located all the manufacturers, etc. Then, I guess I NEVER EMAILED IT IN. Seriously, Noelle?! Blonde moment! The worst part is I didn’t even realize my mistake until a few weeks after acceptance emails went out. I knew CardMaker sends you an email whether or not your card was accepted, so I emailed Brooke to ask her since I never got acceptances or rejections. LOL! ;) She was like, “I don’t remember seeing any submissions from you….” Well, I guess that would be because I NEVER SENT THEM! Every now again, we all get a “what was I thinking” moment, I guess this will be mine for the time being, haha. So, the great news is I’m writing this post in the car on a road trip. I didn’t have much time to craft before I left. So, here’s a cute card all ready to go-just gotta blog it! Everything works out in the end, right? ;)

I was busy working on my new and improved studio these last weeks before the trip!  ***squeak! I can’t wait to show you a full tour on Craft Storage Ideas in a few more days. It was a huge amount of work, and while the cost wasn’t exorbitant, I still spent a few hundred dollars putting it all together. But I LOVE the way it turned out! Can’t wait to show you!! :)

So, back to the card. This set makes the prettiest and EASIEST cards ever! Stamped my flowers in a few pastel colors. I added a simple birthday sentiment at the bottom (from Simply Said).

A sweet bow at the top, accented with a button and this was ready to go! Hope you like it.

Have a fantastic day, blog friends! :)

Very nice card. The ribbon and floral design is very pleasing. - Jim
