TCP Sneaky Peek Week day #7 "Handmade for the Holidays" (JB 12:24)

The Cat's Pajamas is now 10 years old! Alma started making rubber stamps at her dining room table, hand cutting rubber and cushion and attaching them to wood blocks to sell to the local stamp stores where she was teaching.

So much has happened to stamping in 10 years. But our love of stamping is still going strong. So this release, we are excited to celebrate the way we started. With rubber stamps. Not just any rubber stamps. Cling Stamp sets for easy storage and positioning. Perfect for those who love rubber, but also love the convenience and ease of clear. Limited Edition because these stamps are extra special. Lovingly assembled at Alma's dining room table. Just like she did 10 years ago. So snap them up, because only a small number will be made. Her table is only so big.

Hi all! I am so excited to play along with the Cat Pack at The Cat's Pajamas this week! I am able to do this because I was chosen as The Swanky Stamper in July for this card. So I get the whole new release for free, and get to share with you all the goodies I'm making with these fun new things this week.

This set is called "Handmade For the Holidays" and there is a super-cute coordinating CutUp. I used both the stamps and the CutUp, as well as the new Star CutUp. I love stars, they are so versatile I've found throughout the years. Great for Christmas, 4th of July, school, kid, theater, birthdays, and more! This tag will also work to submit to the Current Jingle Belles challenge, to use food on your project :)

I made a tag, I figured I could dress up a tin of handmade cookies or a recipe card with this. It would also make a cute gift tag. I do tend to make a lot of handmade gifts at Christmas, so I love that this has the kitchen sentiment and the handmade sentiment as well.

I wanted to put cute googly eyes on my gingerbread man, but I didn't have any, and was running too short on time  to go to the craft store to get some, so I improvised with some green snaps/closed eyelets, and a black pen.

I dry embossed little "Gingy" ;) and folded his hands around the sentiment as if he was holding a sign. Added some bakers twine for the tie.

I hope you like my card! Please check out the Cat's Pajamas Thread on Splitcoaststampers to see what the Cat Pack made with these cute stamps and to check out the other Sneaky Peeks!

big hugs, Noelle

Your embossed gingerbread man is fabulous! Love how he's holding the sentiment in his hands.
