Under The Big Top (Curtain Call)

Hi guys! Sorry for the lack of posts, it was Back-to-school week around here! You might think I would have a lot of time, but they all went back on different days, and my youngest didn't go back until yesterday. This year I have a new middle schooler and a new kindie, so it was exciting (and also a little sad for Mom, I won't lie to you... these kids grow up too fast!) Let me share a few pics with you of my handsome boys, though. I'm really proud of all of them, they truly are amazing kids! (ignore the dead plant in the photos, I often tell people, I do great things with paper but if you want a cake made, or a plant tended to, I am NOT your girl! LOL) ;)

Today's card is for this week's Curtain Call Challenge! It's called "Carnival Craze." Lawn Fawn is providing the winner with a stamp set of their choice! I was so impressed with Lawn Fawn when I went to CHA last month. They had the absolute BEST make and takes, so fun! :)

I had just purchased a bunch of circus themed items from TCP! I had been wanting to use them and this was such a great opportunity, I couldn't pass it up.

I used the Circus Tent CutUp and pieced it together with other patterns. Then I stamped and colored Mr. Ringmaster Bear. I created a little scene using the Holiday Toppers wave shaped CutUp for a hill. The Circus Panels CutUps made a great spot for the sentiment to sit. This is a 4"x6" card.

I think Circus/Carnival themed cards are so fun and make perfect birthday cards, which is probably what I will use this for. I can always use more birthday cards! My little Ev had a circus themed nursery, it was so cute! I can't believe he's about to be 6! No more baby. :(
