Hi friends! Back with another card! This one I managed to multitask and use THREE challenges on! So very glad it worked out to use all 3 on this card, because I wanted to play all of them-and a few are closing soon! Here's what challenges this card is for:
1. Kraftin' Kimmie "Slippery When Wet" challenge-to use a "wet" themed stamp, (one that is KK of course!) :)

I really had fun with this card-the only "bummer" was that I had a hard time finding DPs in the challenge colors... I really wanted more of a "watery" feel than I got with these, but it's ok, I think.
I made her hair silver with a gray Copic and then coated it all with Frosted Lace Stickles. Her tail and dorsal fins are coated with Diamond Stickles, too. Here's a closeup so you can see better.
This is the sweetest stamp; I love mermaids. My obsession with mermaids began a little over a year ago when my cousin started teasing me about being "Ariel" since I love to swim so much! I assured him, I look NOTHING like a mermaid when I swim! It's like this, actually, LOL!
I did buy these mermaid stamps because of his teasing though, and I think I'd like to get a mermaid necklace at some point, just because the lap pool and I have become such good friends ;) A few weeks back I reached my goal of a mile in the pool! :) This necklace is awfully pretty!
I figured this would be a good birthday card for one of my friends. I hope you like it, too! :)
