WCMD 2013 (PP166)

Hello! The play I was directing was Friday night, and these kids were SO amazing, let me tell you! I have a couple pics. They were so funny and cute, I just was so very proud of all 18 of them! :)

Then,  I got up bright and early Saturday and headed over to a World Card Making Day party for Colorado bloggers!  It included (and there were more, but these are right off the top of my head: Annette, Tenia, Michelle, Kim, and even Stacey came in from the Midwest to visit! We all were saying, how we get connected via the internet all the time, we visit other blogs, we comment, we "like" and chat on Facebook, but how often do we actually get together in person?? We are going to try and make a recurring thing of it, and that is really great. :)

Then after all THAT fun, I got to meet some of my best girlfriends for girls night! It was so fun, I feel so blessed to have so many amazing women in my world. :) But, I have to admit, when it was time to get up for running club this morning, I. Was. Exhausted. LOL, but I managed it all anyway, and then spent much of the rest of today parked on my sofa! ;) But that's good because I'm blogging, and I've removed much of the superfluous things from my sidebar, and added neat tabs instead. Cool!

These are a couple of the cards I made for WCMD. I have decided not to enter the contest this time, so I can show you now-yea! I made 5 cards.... 2 Christmas cards, that I'm hanging onto for the moment. 1 other Christmas card that you will see later this month for TCP Tuesday, and these two. Most were made with new product that I hadn't even had time to OPEN, let alone stamp with, over this last crazy month! This first one was made with some new goodies I bought from Lawn Fawn with their latest release. I believe I ordered these dies, but they are backordered from the site I ordered from, but seeing as I was at WCMD, sweet Kim lent me hers. :)

One thing I liked about this card was that I used my TCP Toppers CutUps at the top there, just thinking it would be a cool place for the sentiment to land, and it ended up looking like the fall foliage of the tree! Super cool! One thing I didn't like, is that I messed up stamping the tree trunk, and I had to "fix" it; but I still don't think it looks right.... :(

I just love coloring little deer. It's so fun to add the speckles to their backs, I think. :) And, I LOVE this fox! We had a fox family living under my house for several years. The kits are SO stinking cute. But I wasn't too bummed when they moved on because dead bird and rabbit pieces all over my yard got old....

This second one I am submitting to the Paper Players #166 challenge!

It was made with new goodies from Lil' Inker. I went over there to buy the stitched stars and these stamps and dies just popped into my shopping cart! ;) Love the sentiment, it's just funny. This was a super quick card! I may need to make some more of these to give out on Halloween.

And, that's it for me today! Hugs and I will be back Tuesday with a TCP Tuesday card for October!
Hugs, Noelle

Noelle, both your cards are so cute! The images on the first one are just adorable, and I love the cross hatched images and fun sentiment on the Halloween card. Thanks for joining us this week at The Paper Players!
