Sneaky Peek Week Day One: Official Grinch

Hello Blog Friends! Welcome to Day One of The Cat's Pajamas Sneaky Peek Week!

Today, we are Peeking a super cute set called "Official Grinch" I just Looooove this set! :)

Here's my card, I also used the new dies the Basic Popup, and the Double Snowflake. Alma has a video right here showing you how it works! :)

Here's my card! I just love grinchy Sprinkle in a Sweater! Poochie is just trying to be sweet by giving her a sweater, and for what, I ask you?? ;)

Here's the interior, the Basic PopUp CutUp makes pop up cards SO easy!
I also used the FREE cut files you can get at TCP that let your electric die cut machine do the fussy cutting for you! ;) LOVE them!
My card uses the smaller of the 2 snowflakes included in this set of two dies. These are SO pretty and cut like buttah, particularly using your CuttleHug.

I hope you like my card! You should definitely go check out what the other Cat Packers have in store for you today! :)

CardMaker & The Twinery BLOG HOP!

Well, hello, hello! Thanks for stopping by today! You might just be here Hopping along the CardMaker and The Twinery's Blog Hop! You should have just come from Tifany deGough's beautiful blog! If not, and you'd like to begin at the top of the Hop, you can go to CardMaker blog to begin.

The Twinery is giving out a lovely assortment (4 spools!) of twine (a 60$ value) in the following colors to a lucky Hopper! That Copper Shimmer is so pretty!

The Twinery sent me some lovely autumnal twine to play with! I made two cards in an autumn theme. On the first one I used Solid Marigold, Solid Cappuccino, and Solid Mandarin.

I used a leaf die to cut out turkey's tail feathers and then wrapped them in the twine, I love the added texture it gave to his feathers.

A simple stamped sentiment is all that's needed to accent this cute guy! I think I will give this to my Mom as she is hosting Thanksgiving this year.
For my second card, I decided to make an autumn rainbow. It just seemed like a fun and creative way to showcase my love of the colors of autumn. On this card, I also used the 3 colors of twine on the first card, and I used Solid Maraschino,  Copper Shimmer, Gold Shimmer, Mandarin Stripe, and Solid Natural twine.

A textured background and some die cut and punched pieces give this card some extra oomph, but the twine takes center stage on this fun card!

Next on the Hop is dear Stacey Schaefer! I am sure she has something FANTASTIC to show you! Enjoy the Hop! :)

Housewarming Gift/Tag

Hello Blog Friends! I just wanted to stop in and show you a project I made for a friend who recently moved. I made a quick tag with some leftovers and my "The Tweetest Things" stamps from TCP. This was a 5 minute project and I think it turned out super cute. I am candle junkie myself, and I loved this one I got for her. MMMMM, it was so yummy smelling!

That's all for me today! Thanks for stopping in, blog friends! :)

TCP Tuesday 279-Anything Goes!

Hello there, dear blog friends! Sorry for my absence, all that is about to change, though. I have been a busy bee. I figured out my design schedule for the rest of this year on Saturday morning, and was a smidge anxious to realize that I have 21 posts/projects that will need to be completed and posted between now and mid-December! That is a lot for a little over a month, but some really FUN stuff is coming your way! Some for The Cat's Pajamas, some for Craft Storage Ideas, and some for CardMaker, but still, yeah, feeling busy! ;) I did make a whole lot of headway this weekend though. Most of my Saturday was dedicated to crafting-with Christmas tunes blaring since I was making Christmas cards, after all. ;) I looooove Christmas music, so any excuse to listen to it before Thanksgiving is a good one. :)

Today is a new week for TCP Tuesday! Today, the challenge is "Anything Goes!" My sweet middle son, Collin has a birthday this week! He is turning 12, hard to believe. This is his card. At the bottom are a few pics of him, through the years. My card for today is his birthday card. :)

I and fun making this cute pirate, and the multicolored stamped sentiment panel.

I used the "Aye, Eye, I" stamp set, and the Under My Hat CutUps, as well as the Framed Up CutUps.

I used some punched circles and the Numbers Plate CutUps on the inside of the card. :)

Collin is such a great and special boy. He is kind, super smart, inquisitive, and sweet. I have been certain for a long time that this kid has an IQ higher than mine! He is so bright, it is awesome. Here are some pics of him through the years, I cannot believe he's 12, I know I say that every year, but I can't. :(

Have a fantastic week!

You're A Lifesaver-TCPTUES278

Hi friends! It's time for another TCP Tuesday Challenge! Hope you can join us and play! Today we have a sketch challenge, brought to you by the talented Wendy McGaffey. Here is her great sketch:
If you pop over to the TCP blog I believe they will hook you up with some free cut files for the sketch, so you don't even have to measure a thing. They are available in a PDF that you can print and cut, or a digital cut file for your cutting machine. I cut mine on my Silhouette Cameo.
I made this card for my dear friend, Donna. She watched my 3 rowdy boys on Friday night since Hubby had a work event for us to go to. It sure is fun to get all gussied up sometimes! :) Thank you, dear Donna!
I used Aye, Aye Captain stamp set.  The largest paper is another I got from the Paper Source on my little shopping trip last week. :) It mostly got covered by the other layers, so I framed one of the seahorses that I punched out with some hardware. This is what the full big sheet looks like.
I really took my time coloring this Cap'n Bun. I am more pleased than usual with my coloring on this card, particularly on the boat and the water. :)
Are you interested in playing along with us? Here's the deets:

KKS Challenge-Let It Snow!

Hi friends! I am playing another challenge today. Can you believe it? None for months and then I do two in less than a week? I am pretty happy about it. :) Thanks for stopping in. Today, I am playing over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, the challenge this week is "Let It Snow!"

This is the only KKS stamp I have that is a winter or holiday theme, :( so I decided to make it work. Love her name, though! ;) This is Noelle, just like me. ;) I love KKS images, I have several mermaids, and Sarah Shopper, too. :)

The bulk of this card was coloring and cutting the stamp out. Then I just layered up a die cut, some DP, and some punched pieces. I tore a scrap of white glitter paper for her to stand on. The sentiment that came with the set, didn't work for the "snowy" theme, so I used a TCP one from another set.

These are my favorite colors, and this is such a cute little gal! I really had fun with this card. Thanks for stopping by to see it! :)

I'll be back in just a few hours with a new TCP Tuesday Challenge! :)
