Mother's Day scrapbook pages (CQC #98)

Hey all! Time for another fab color combo at the colourQ! I hope you will play along with us this week and have fun with these watery hues.

I LOVE these colors, of course! Blues, greens and browns are so TOTALLY my thing! :) I pulled these pics from Mother's Day of 2010, since there was a lot of blue in them. I ended up using some resin flowers on them, but, I wish I'd had some pretty crocheted flowers in these colors, like in the inspiration pic!

In retrospect, I wish I'd done a bit of background stamping on the page. Somehow, it still lacks a little "oomph" for my taste! I hand cut banners for the title and pertinent info. I created a big flower in the middle with 2 patterned flowers and a Prima flower, a button, and some twine.

Well, that's it for me today! I hope you will play at colourQ with us this week! "see" you back here soon!

xoxox, Noelle

supply list: solid cardstock: SU!; letter stickers: October Afternoon and Authentique; flowers: BasicGrey and Prima; button: Crate Paper; twine: SU!; resin flowers: Prima and Recollections; die cut scalloped circle that reads "three:" Jillibean Soup; sentiment stamp: MFT; sentiment sticker: lilybee designs

DUST IT OFF!: Use scraps of paper to cut banners for a fresh way to highlight your page!

Your comments make my day! :) I've found it's easiest for me to return comments 1-2 times per week, so it might be a few days, but I WILL get over to your blogs and see what awesome things you've been up to. Thanks SO MUCH for popping by, blog friends!
