TCP TUESDAY 256: I love you more than BACON!

Hi there friends! It is time for another TCP Tuesday Challenge! Today's theme is LOVE! Here's my cards:

Here are the Details on how you can join in on the fun:
  1. Each Tuesday a new challenge will be posted here on this blog as well as on our Splitcoaststampers forum and ourFacebook page.
  2. If you want to play along you just upload your design using the InLinkz button on our blog. If you want to display your pretties on Splitcoaststampers use keyword TCPTUES256. Only the entries uploaded to the Inlinkz button will be considered for Swanky Stamper at the end of the month.
  3. You must have your project posted by Monday, 12 midnight EST to be eligible to win the week’s Cat Cash.
  4. Cards and projects must have at least one Cat’s Pajamas Stamp or CutUps die in the project.
  5. On the following TCP Tuesday, the week’s winner will be chosen from the previous challenge and will receive a Cat Cash Voucher for $10.00.
  6. At the end of the month, The Swanky Stamper will be selected from all the weekly entries. The Swanky Stamper will receive some of the stamps from our next release and get to play along with us at our Pajamas Party and Blog Hop. AND… They’ll even get a special spot in the Gallery highlighting the project that won them the gig and a snazzy badge to display on their blog.
  7. The Swanky Stamper will be announced the First Monday of the month on Splitcoaststampers, Facebook page and this Blog.

I saw this fun tutorial on my Facebook feed through Splitcoaststampers, as soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to make my son a BACON Valentine! My oldest is a major bacon freak! I ordered this Shakin' Bacon clock for him as a Valentine's surprise. ;) The only difference between my bacon and hers is that I used a gold ribbon, I didn't have ivory, so I lost out on some of the marbled effect, but it still looks like bacon, don't you agree? :)
One of my dearest friends daughter also loves bacon! She and Ian are friends, I had two "bacon strips" left over from trying out the tutorial, so I offered to make the other one for Donna to give to her daughter. I went with a more girly/Valentine-y color scheme for hers.

I used Coolvetica, Simply Said, and the Heart from Build-A-Bingo. I also used the Framed Up CutUps.

Hope you can come play with us this week at The Cat's Pajamas, a love theme is perfect for this time of year, don't you think? :)

Hugs, Noelle

  2. what a riot. I love your bacon cards. I would have thought these were KJ's cards, she's a major bacon lover.
and I think the gold ribbon just makes the bacon look more well done and crispy, the way I like it.

Your comments make my day! :) I've found it's easiest for me to return comments 1-2 times per week, so it might be a few days, but I WILL get over to your blogs and see what awesome things you've been up to. Thanks SO MUCH for popping by, blog friends!
