Hi all! Happy New Year! Hope you all are recovered from last night's good times. ;) In case you didn't know, sweet
Arielle's 40th birthday was Friday... I thought I'd make her a card using HER two challenges and a Trigger, too! ;) Hopefully, by the time she reads this, it will be in the mail, since it MOST DEFINITELY will be late! Sorry, Arielle!
This card is for the
"Sweet Dreams" Tuesday Trigger. I was inspired by all these yummy fabric prints combined together, as well as the soft blue (my favorite!) color. :) This is such a pretty room! I would LOVE to crawl into that bed every night, how about you?

Retro Sketches #44
....and, for this week's ColourQ, I have a special surprise for you today!
ColourQ #170 is a special challenge... we gals on the ColourQ Royal Court were asked to go back and find our favorite challenge from the last year. We could then, either reuse the original project, OR make a new project. I am showing you both my old and the new one. Now what do YOU get to pick from for your ColourQ this week? You can pick from any of the palettes that the DT picked to make your project this week. Oh, the possibilities! ;)
My fave from the last year was
this candy bar slider from February, it was
ColourQ #124. Here is the palette and my original project...

Ok, now for today I made a scrappy card, using lots of bits and pieces from my
tiered organizer.... oh, let me tell you how I have USED the bits and pieces that are already made since I can now see them on my desk! LOVE IT! :) Anyway, the die cut hearts were sent to me ages ago in a SWAP from
Kara. I had those little glassine bags in the organizer, too, I think something came in this one, it had a fold in it already. The chipboard owl was also in there, he was just too cute and the perfect colors, I couldn't pass him up! I also used some new papers, going with those fabric-inspired prints... the blue print is so similar to the rug in the Trigger photo, and there's a cute gingham print on the bench. I had a previously unused roll of washi tape with the hearts and little clouds from
Freckled Fawn, I really love this one, I'm sure I'll be using some more of this soon, it's too cute for Valentine's Day!
Well, I couldn't let the turning 40 thing go, without any mention at all! So, I stamped the numbers on the pink gingham strip, near the bottom. I also used some sentiment stamps from Paper Smooches, two of my new TCP dies for the borders and a clip and some staples.
I hope you like my card! More importantly, I really hope Arielle likes it! Happy New Year! Be back in one hour with a sparkly New Year card for Can You Digi It?
xo, Noelle
