Santa Stamps (JB12:19)

Hi there! Sorry to have been so absent this last week! Still getting into the groove of the school year, I guess. My oldest started middle school this year, and going from 15 minutes a night to 3 hours a night of homework has been a bit of a stress on us all! But I have been missing my blog and crafty time:) I am working on my first article for Craft Storage Ideas also. I am so excited I got that gig, and all the other ladies seem really nice, I can't wait to get started!
I am WAY behind on Christmas cards for the year... I might actually *gasp* have to send out photo cards? Yikes, I know. I've got to at least try and catch up! ;) I thought I'd give the current Jingle Belles challenge (to "go postal") a shot. I didn't think I would have any trouble finding postage themed Christmas items in my stash, but I didn't have a single one! I used my TCP postage stamp die and coordinating stamp set, and that worked out well, I think.

On the bottom, I cut a decorative edge strip from a card making pad. I added a banner stamped with the sentiment and a twine bow with a vintage look gem. Not a super "mailman-friendly" card with that gem, but it was just to pretty to pass up! The striped twine reminded me of a package tied with twine.

Well, that is all for me today! I will see you Tuesday with my latest page for the ColourQ!

Big hugs and have a great week,
Noelle

supply list: paper: Reminisce and K&Company; dies: TCP and PTI; stamps: TCP and SU!; gem: K&Company

Your comments make my day! :) I've found it's easiest for me to return comments 1-2 times per week, so it might be a few days, but I WILL get over to your blogs and see what awesome things you've been up to. Thanks SO MUCH for popping by, blog friends!
