TCP Sneaky Peek Week! Day 2: "Bloom"

Hi there! It's day 2 of Sneaky Peek Week for The Cat's Pajamas! That link takes you to Alma's blog where you can check out what pretties the Cat Pack have for you! I get to play this week because I was January's Swanky Stamper. :) As SS, I won all the stamps and CutUps from this new release, and I get to play all week! This set is called "Bloom," and I don't mind telling you when I saw this die that cuts the loopy flowers, I literally squealed! I have wanted a die like this for a long time, so cool that I actually WON this! Here's a closeup on Mr. Flower Bun.

He was Copic-colored, fussy-cut, Stickled, gemmed, and his nose was popped up. I backed him with some layered Nestabilities and the previously released TCP Grass CutUp, "puzzle-piecing" the layers together the way I like to do. Onto the fabulous flowers!

They were cut out of 3 different colors of felt, and I used some pretty stickpins to hold the little felt corsage together. The piece with Mr. Flower Bun was stitched to some natural colored cross-stitch fabric, and the flowers were hot glued on. I then stamped the sentiment right onto the fabric:

This funky frame is from Target, and it's a bit less shiny in person. The final touch was a cluster of buttons to balance out the opposite corner from the flowers:

I hope you like my project! Go check out what the Cat Pack has to show you today! I'll be back tomorrow with another Peek!

xoxo, Noelle

Your comments make my day! :) I've found it's easiest for me to return comments 1-2 times per week, so it might be a few days, but I WILL get over to your blogs and see what awesome things you've been up to. Thanks SO MUCH for popping by, blog friends!
