New Inkadinkado stamps! :)

Using a piece from a die cut card stack, and a piece of printed acetate,
I created a fun "vintage wallpapery" looking background.
I stamped and fussy-cut my balloon and colored it with markers.
Finally a banner for the sentiment and lots of gems and buttons for fun!

A super SIMPLE birthday card! I stamped my sentiment out in a variety
of colors, then used a paper piercer to punch the holes before
I stitched some bakers twine through. A scalloped border, some gems and
some added bakers twine embellishments, CAS, and
would work for a birthday card for anyone, young, old, male, female:)
Hi all! Here's some fun cards I made this weekend from some new Inkadinkado stamps that I got a few weeks ago. I couldn't RESIST these cute, affordable, FUN stamps. This Pennant Alphabet will be so useful, both for cards and scrapbooking! I actually used it on my Disney pages a few posts back. This set with the hot air balloon and the zeppelin is called Inspirational Lift, how FUN is that? Hubby and I couldn't agree if it is a zeppelin or a blimp. I say zeppelin because of the pointy nose, he says blimp, because the fan is too small for a zeppelin? That's an engineer talking for you, I say he knows nothing about stamp art! LOL! I'm thinking I'll be submitting the balloon card to the Moxie Fab Beautiful Balloon Challenge. Too fun!
Using the sponged ink technique I saw my friend Sylvia use on this post,
I sponged ink on my zeppelins for both this and the next card,
some more fussy cutting ensued, I guess I like it more than I thought!
I like the look anyway! I created a punched background for it,
and used a funky patterned paper strip at the top, as well as one of my reclaimed buttons:)

You really can't get simpler than this card, a patterned paper
background, a swirl for the "tracks" some punches, voila!
Well, I really hope you like my cards! I've been playing off and on for the last 3 days. Have a super day! -Noelle

  1. You've given me a great idea for the printed acetate - I haven't used any of it yet, and I have the same pattern :) I love the zeppelins - the green/purple/blue one especially, and all the fantastic sentiments!

Your comments make my day! :) I've found it's easiest for me to return comments 1-2 times per week, so it might be a few days, but I WILL get over to your blogs and see what awesome things you've been up to. Thanks SO MUCH for popping by, blog friends!
