Those new stamps were just calling my name today, and my housework is suffering because of it, lol! Here's a card for the bonus sketch over at 2s4y, this is for Stacey's sketch. As you can see, I crammed as much glitz & glitter on this card as humanly possible! Just kidding, although, this is quite a bit more "bling" than I usually do.
My theme was "vintage glamour" with this card. As you can see, I flipped Stacey's sketch horizontally, I'm trying to get out of a vertical card RUT! I colored my stamped image with the Copics (I am officially HOOKED on Copics, just in case you couldn't tell....) then I mounted it on some more of that no-name gold paper (see previous post..) it was still sitting out from the last card. I border punched the edge of the gold with a cool Martha Stewart border punch & trimmed a bit. I added a strip of Sticky Strip and covered it in the Champagne glass glitter. I ran some gold ribbon behind it on the card base & then mounted the whole thing onto a card base made from Cherry Cobbler. A bunch of teeny pearls complete the look.
My bow was made from the same gold ribbon, which was wired ribbon, but I removed the wire & then used it to gather my bow in the center. The final touch is a super duper fancy snowflake sticker, acting as the "brooch" on the bow.
Supply list: solid cardstock (Vanilla, cherry Cobbler)-SU!, Stamp-SU!, glass glitter-SU!, markers-Copic, Sticker-Jolee's, punch-Martha Stewart crafts. Well, that's it for me today, I hope you like my glamorous card! Now off to do some not so glamorous laundry;) Have a stellar day! -Noelle
