2s4y Design Team Call - 3 cards:)

Hi all- as I mentioned in the last post, I'm on my way out of town-wahooo! But I really wanted to give a final shot at this design team call for 2s4y. They are picking TWO designers this week!!!  I made 3 different cards, all using this week's sketch & decided to consolidate them into one post, hope that's cool:)

Snowflake Card- (all supplies SU! unless noted)
The brown background is dry embossed with the Cuttlebug folder & sprayed with Log Cabin Smooch Spritz. I stamped the large circular snowflake stamp (hero arts) in Baja Breeze ink on Vanilla cardstock. I cut it out with the circle cutter & then mounted it on a larger Marina Mist circle and a scallop die cut (nestabilities) I cut 2 large snowflakes out on my Cricut (Winter Woodland cartridge) and I glittered the smaller one with Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I put a vintage brad through the center of the whole circular embellishment.
I made a pseudo "bow" from brown striped ribbon (SU!) and layered my fancy circle on top. For the sentiment, I stamped the sentiment (Penny Black stamp) on Vanilla & cut the end to give it a banner look. I then used 2 dimensionals to lay it down so it had movement.

Butterfly card- (all supplies SU! unless noted)
For this card I started with a card base of Elegant Eggplant, then layered on a piece of Rich Razzleberry, then I brayered Rich Razzleberry, Real Red, Melon Mambo, and Rose Red onto a piece of Presto Patterns cardstock. I sprayed Vanilla Smooch Spritz onto the piece to give it some shine. I inked up my stamp with multiple markers, and then punched it out with a 1 3/4" circle punch. I used the jumbo scallop circle punch to punch out a piece of my patterned paper (Basic Grey) and I ruffled around it with some fuschia ribbon from my stash. Then I made a bold stripe out of some Rose Red cardstock and another piece of the Basic Grey paper. Finally I punched two butterflies, one from Rich Razzleberry cardstock and one from Night& Day patterned acetate & I layered them. then I added 2 rhinestones to the butterfly body and 3 to the bottom of the card.  I added the butterly to the card to make it look like it was fluttering away.

Monster card- This was a simple card & super fun! I used Basic Black, Real Red and Bashful Blue cardstock (SU!) I stamped the sentiment from MFT "Little Loveosaurus" then I dry embossed the blue piece in the Cuttlebug. I made the bold stripe from October afternoon paper & sticker strip. Then I made the monster panel with a large October Afternoon sticker & a Sassafrass monster sticker.
Well that is it for me! I will be out of town, so I will answer comments when I get back. When i get back late next week I will try to get a challenge or 2 in & I'll show you pictures of my vacation! Thanks to my stamping buddy Mindy for keeping an eye on my place! Have a great week:) -Noelle

Your comments make my day! :) I've found it's easiest for me to return comments 1-2 times per week, so it might be a few days, but I WILL get over to your blogs and see what awesome things you've been up to. Thanks SO MUCH for popping by, blog friends!
