About Noelle

Hi blog friends!

I guess the most important thing I can tell you about me is that I'm a really artistic person. I express that in many ways. I work part-time teaching theater to kids. I stamp. I write. I blog. I scrapbook. I decorate my house for just about every holiday known to man. I sing very very badly in the shower and in my car. It's all an ends to mean, really. Creativity breeds more creativity. I always wanted to have a creative career, and now between all my crafting and teaching, I am fortunate enough to say I do.

My arts background: I have a Fine Arts degree in Theater, I attended college for awhile in Interior Design while I worked in that field. I have paper crafted since 1997, when my cousin asked me to host a Creative Memories party. In 2002, I attended a Stampin' Up! party and got hooked on card making and stamping. I was a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for two years. I've sold my wares at craft sales, and even had a booth in a craft mall for a time. I love to help people tap into their own creative process.

My life: I live in CO, and I am happily married to my high school sweetheart. We have three sons, 2 Pomeranians, and a cat. Which means, life is crazy most of the time, and I have gotten used to that. My boys are my world, but my job is to encourage their independence. When I have time off (which, between my theater job, blog work, volunteer work, and full-time momming, isn't that often!) I like to train for mini and sprint distance triathlons (I am a baby athlete, having only become athletic in my late 30s), hang out with my amazing girlfriends, work on even more home decorating projects, and read fiction.

Philosophy: I believe we only get one life and we should live it to the fullest. I believe that the love you receive is equal to the love you give. I now believe that you (and me) are capable of becoming anything we want to be! Even if you don't think you are creative, you can become more creative. That is why I blog, I hope to inspire others with my journey.

Randomness: I have insanely thick and unruly hair. I have a sweet tooth that just won't quit! I make a mean pot of soup. I cannot stand the feeling of wet wood. I love to swim but hate to run. I am a sharp dresser (read shopaholic!). I think that just about anything can be laughed about, and that my sense of humor keeps me sane. I am looking forward to my 40th birthday. I have literally NO natural grace or coordination. I am a natural blonde and have lots of dingy moments to prove it! I have hips at any weight. I love organizing but hate cleaning.

My blog is primarily about paper crafting; card making, scrapbooking, stamping, etc. But sometimes you will see Interior Design posts, party planning posts, and decorating ideas. Hope you can stop by sometimes! I would love to get to know you better.
