Let It Snow Winter Cards

Hi friends, I had a few last-minute holiday cards to make, so I decided to make them winter cards in case I needed thank you notes, etc. later on. I used the same stamp set on all of these, it's Avery Elle's Let It Snow.  I loved the tree image, I thought it would be fun to play with, and it was! I also used my new Avery Elle pigment ink pads on the tricolor tree images that I stamped. :)

Sure hope you like them! Have a great day! :)

"Church Key" bottle opener mini holiday gifts/gift card holders

Merry Christmas! So glad to see you all today! Today is also my 40th birthday-wow! I can hardly believe it, but I am so excited to see what the next decade will bring! :)
One of my greatest blessings in life, are my amazing friends. I really have been blessed in my 30s to learn the value of true friendship, and to have a tight circle of amazing, loving, and supportive women that I respect and love! There is one group of friends in particular, we get together weekly and have some girl time.

One of the jokes in the group is that a bottle opener is called a "church key" which I'd never heard before. My friend Donna is originally from the East Coast, I wonder if that's where the term comes from! Anyhow, I thought it would be cute to personalize a "church key" for each lady as part of their holiday gift.

I made tags for each one with Key Phrases stamps, Key To My Heart CutUps, and a few other TCP items. Then I decorated each opener with some washi tape and tied the tag to them.

I also had ONE MORE holiday gift packaging idea I wanted to share. I made all these things, then never got around to blogging them, so I am cramming them all in under the wire! Ha!

You might have seen I had a pretty gift card holder on CardMaker blog last week.

I made another in brighter colors for another gift card I had to give, the cut file to make this is here.

Love these fun papers! These are old ones, the colors are non-traditional and SO cool, I think these are from Crate Paper.

I hope you have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR! big hugs to all my blog friends!

Goodie Tags

Hi friends! Just stopping in to show you some goodie tags I made for giving away treats this year. I also made some last minute gift tags with leftover items, and I'll share those, too! :)

Here's the ones I made for goodies, I used my Luggage Tags CutUps and my Handmade for You stamps, both from The Cat's Pajamas.

These were fun and fast! :) I also made some fun, and even FASTER tags, using leftover die cuts and stamped images I had unused from before. I used simple kraft tags, stickers, and bakers twine as well to create gift tags.

I hope you like my tags! Happy Christmas Eve!

Christmas Decorating 2014

Hi friends, just stopping in to show you my Christmas Decorating for this year. Here are links back to 2013 decorating, 2012 decorating, and  2011 decorating, in case you want to see older pics as well. I actually "toned down" a bit this year, I got rid of a lot of stuff and only put out about half as many garlands as I usually do. But hey, I was less stressed and I love the way the place looks! Check it out. :)

Cookie Plates for Santa

Hi all, stopping in today with a project I spent my afternoon on. I was needing a few more small gifts and decided to use this cut file I had to create Santa Cookie Plates.

I got the chargers at Michaels, they were really inexpensive and I liked how they had several styles. I used green and silver vinyl. I hope you like them! Hope you're having a merry season and I will be back soon with more fun holiday projects!

Catching Up, and Theater Cards and Gifts

Hey friends! I apologize for the crickets 'round these parts lately. I have been doing a LOT of stuff, just not blogging, I guess! It's that time of year...... ;) Lots of shopping, wrapping, parties, lunches with friends, etc. but just not much blogging. Finally have everything bought for Christmas, most things wrapped, cards done, and everything shipped that needs to go out! Whew! Now onto baking, next! ;) I did made some new holiday cards today, and took a Copic class sponsored by The Greeting Farm Stamps last week. It was taught by my blog friend Carisa Zglobicki, and she did a fantastic job! I learned so much about shading. :) Here are two of my people that I colored, I am pretty proud of them! :)

Also, we have had a Silver and Gold feature up at CardMaker blog this month! So far, I have had a card up, and an ornament. On Thursday, I will have a sweet gift card holder, so check it out if you can!

Of course, my Sis and I are always busy keeping up with Craft Storage Ideas site as well. My other "blog baby" if you will. ;) We are having a Contributor Call right now! Please apply if you are interested! :)

Well, I wanted to show you *something* else today, anyway.... This isn't very Christmasey, but it is SOMETHING I had been wanting to share anyway, so here goes!

I normally make some things for my theater kids and helpers and the show I had in October was no exception! Just had no time to blog it until now, so here you are. :)

I didn't have time to make cards for every student this time, so I made these little tags that I hot glued to chopsticks. I then slipped these into the flowers we had made up for the kids.

These cards were for my 3 assistants, they were so much help!

There was a pocket inside for gift cards, too.

Thanks for stopping by!
